Any shipping charges billed to a customer account or consignee billing, which are disputed, will be billed back to the customer by Audio Electronic Supply. Shipping charges for orders outside of the continental U.S. will be quoted at the time of order.

Insurance:
A nominal charge for insurance on orders of $100.00 or more will be automatically added to your order (UPS charges $0.35 per $100.00 of declared value).

Sales Tax:
Only North Carolina residents need to remit 7% sales tax. Audio Electronic Supply is not able to remit sales tax to states other than North Carolina. North Carolina businesses must submit a tax exempt certificate to avoid being charged sales tax.

Out of Stock:
For orders paid by check, money order or credit card: Items not available for immediate shipment will be shipped as they become available. Items not available at the end of 30 days will be canceled and refunded or credited. The number of back order days may be extended beyond 30 days with your approval.

Special Orders:
Other products not listed in our catalog may be available from our suppliers. Special orders must be placed with advance payment. Please note that certain items can take a long period of time to arrive due to lengthy supplier lead times. Special order items are not returnable. Deposits are non-refundable.

Parts Return Policy:
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to determine the suitability of parts for their intended application when placing their order. You should inspect the shipment upon receipt and satisfy yourself that it is as ordered.

1. We cannot accept merchandise for return without a Return Authorization number (RMA#) which may be obtained by contacting our order department and supplying the original invoice number and date.
   
2. A credit will be issued for the value of the goods returned, less a 15% restocking charge, when the return is due to customer error. All returned goods must be in their original saleable condition and in original shipping containers. Any returned parts that have been soldered, leads trimmed, etc., will NOT be refunded.
   
3. Defective or incorrectly shipped merchandise will be fully credited or replaced at our option, subject to inspection of the returned merchandise.
   
4. Parts must be returned within 30 days of shipping (or within manufacturer’s warranty) to be eligible for replacement or credit.
   
5. Special order kits or non-stock items are not returnable.
   
6. Assembled products may be returned within 10 days of shipping to be eligible for refund.
   

International Orders:
In addition to the United States and its territories, Audio Electronic Supply also accepts orders from other countries. All orders of foreign origin are exported from the U.S. in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations. Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited. Audio Electronic Supply cannot accept letters of credit, personal checks, certified personal checks, or money orders. A cashier’s check in U.S. funds or bank transfer will avoid processing delays.

Freight Damage:
If you receive merchandise that has been damaged in transit it is important to keep the shipping carton, packing material and parts intact. Please contact Audio Electronic Supply Customer Service to initiate a claim.

Prices/Quantities:
Prices are subject to change without notice and quantities may be limited.

Product Liability:
Audio Electronic Supply’s sole obligation for products that prove to be defective within 30 days of purchase will be replacement or refund. Audio Electronic Supply gives no warranty either expressed or implied and specifically disclaims all other warranties, including warranties for merchantability and fitness. In no event shall Audio Electronic Supply’s liability exceed the buyer’s purchase price nor shall Audio Electronic Supply be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

This warranty does not apply to products which have been subject to misuse (including static discharge), neglect, accident, or modification, or which have been soldered or altered during assembly and are not capable of being tested.

Do not use products sold by Audio Electronic Supply as critical components in life support devices or systems! Products sold by Audio Electronic Supply are not authorized for use as critical components in life support devices or systems. A critical component is any component of a life support device or system whose failure to perform can be reasonably expected to cause the failure of the life support device or system, or to affect its safety or effectiveness.
