The AE-3 Mk II is an all-tube preamplifier hand-built of the highest quality here in the USA. The Mk II, an upgrade from the AE-3 DJH, offers an all new power supply design along with a beautifully redesigned chassis making it one of the best values in high end audio. The AE-3 Mk II version has a measured frequency response of 10Hz 200 kHz and employs two 6SN7s and one 5AR4 tube. This unit now comes standard with dual preamplifier outputs, motorized remote volume control, vacuum tube voltage rectification and remote control. Not only is this preamp the perfect match for the Super Amp Mk II or the Six Pac Monoblocks, it will also drive any power amp with the sonic magic you can only get from a tube line stage.
